Arundel Soccer Association has a mission to promote soccer in a fun and safe environment to each player involved. Through excellent leadership, good sportsmanship and fair play we want to emphasize the player's fun, personal growth, passion for the game and skill development.
Board Of Directors
Board of Directors members are nominated and Board Officers elected in October/November of each year. All Board of Directors members serve without compensation. Board Directors are highlighted in blue and active coaches noted with an asterisk. The 2009 ASA Board of Directors and all other volunteers for program operations are:
Good sportsmanship and appropriate side line behavior is important to ASA and it's participants. At the recreational level parents and coaches are required to sign a code of conduct. At the County level there is a code of conduct from Anne Arundel County Department of Parks and Recs for parents and coaches to sign. History and Affiliations
Arundel Soccer Association began operations in 1984. Over the years, it has helped thousands of young players learn about and enjoy soccer while promoting the traditional goals of amateur sports. ASA is affiliated with the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association. MSYSA is affiliated with the United States Youth Soccer Association. USYSA is a member of FIFA, which is soccer's world governing body.
